The X3 is the ACEMAGIC to buy for gaming on integrated graphics. AMD's Ryzen 7 H 255 brings eight Zen 4 cores and Radeon 780M graphics, the strongest built-in GPU in the range. This configuration has 16 GB of LPDDR5, a 1 TB SSD and Windows 11 Pro, with a 40 Gbps USB4 port, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E. It belongs to ACEMAGIC's Retro X series, with a case styled after classic game consoles.

Radeon 780M: why it matters

The 780M uses AMD's RDNA 3 graphics with twelve compute units at up to 2,600 MHz. It's a clear step up from the Radeon 680M in the M1 and the 6800H mini PC, and far ahead of the Intel graphics in the M5, V1 and K1. That makes 1080p gaming practical in many popular titles at low to medium settings, and it speeds up GPU-accelerated photo and video editing. Fast LPDDR5 helps, since the GPU shares system memory.

16GB: think before you buy

Memory is soldered, so 16 GB is permanent. Games set aside part of that memory for graphics, which leaves less for Windows and apps. For gaming plus a browser and chat, 16 GB works. For gaming alongside streaming software, heavy creative apps or virtual machines, look for the 24 GB X3 where ACEMAGIC offers it.

USB4 and modern displays

The 40 Gbps USB4 port can drive a high-resolution monitor, connect a fast external SSD or run a USB4 dock that adds more ports. ACEMAGIC's US table lists up to 100 W power delivery on it. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 are newer than the outputs on other ACEMAGIC models, and ACEMAGIC lists support for 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. A 4K 120 Hz TV or monitor can run at full refresh rate.

Storage and network

Both M.2 slots run at PCIe 4.0, so a second fast drive for your game library won't be held back. 2.5 Gbps Ethernet suits a NAS or fast internet, and Wi-Fi 6E uses the 6 GHz band where your router supports it.

Points to check

ACEMAGIC's pages disagree on a few details. A German comparison table lists DDR5-5600 memory rather than LPDDR5-6400, and a French table lists two Ethernet ports rather than one. We use ACEMAGIC's US figures. The H 255 also has no dedicated AI engine (NPU), which ACEMAGIC states.

Who should pick this one

  • Players who want the best integrated graphics in a compact PC
  • Creators who use GPU-accelerated editing
  • Anyone with a 4K 120 Hz TV or a USB4 dock

For maximum CPU cores, see the M5. For a lower-cost Radeon option, see the M1.
