Verdict: The K1 with the AMD Ryzen Embedded R2544 is ACEMAGIC's entry-level choice for people who want more room to grow than the V1 offers. It has a 4-core, 8-thread processor, Radeon Vega 8 graphics, two memory slots up to 32 GB, two M.2 drive slots up to 4 TB, three display outputs and six USB-A ports. The version linked here comes with 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB drive. Its wireless and processor are an older generation, so it's best for office, school and media use rather than gaming.

What stands out

Eight threads at an entry price. The R2544 has four cores but runs eight threads, which helps when you have a browser, a video call and a spreadsheet open at once. Compared with the four-thread N150 in the V1, it has more headroom for everyday multitasking.

Upgradable in every direction. Two memory slots up to 32 GB and two M.2 slots up to 4 TB give the K1 more upgrade room than the V1 and even the M1, whose memory is soldered. You can start with this version and add memory or a second drive later.

Plenty of ports. Six USB-A ports and a USB-C port mean you rarely need a hub for a printer, webcam, keyboard, mouse, external drive and card reader at once.

Three outputs. HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C let you connect three monitors, which is unusual at this price.

VESA mount included. As with the M1, you can attach the K1 to the back of a monitor.

What to watch

Three screens run at a lower refresh rate. ACEMAGIC's Japanese spec page notes that when all three outputs are used at once, the maximum is 4K at 30 Hz. That's fine for documents and spreadsheets but less smooth for video or fast scrolling. Two 4K screens at 60 Hz is the more comfortable setup.

Older wireless. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 work well for most homes, but they're a generation behind the Wi-Fi 6 in the V1 and M1. If your router is far away, a wired connection will be steadier.

Older processor design. The Zen+ architecture dates back several generations. The K1 is comfortable with office and media work, but it's well behind the M1 and X3 for editing or gaming.

Drive details vary. ACEMAGIC's US spec table lists a 512 GB M.2 SATA drive, while the version linked here comes with 1 TB. ACEMAGIC also sells an 8 GB / 256 GB version. Check the memory and drive on the product page before you order, and expect SATA-level speed if the included drive is SATA.

Only 5 Gbps USB. None of the ports reach 10 Gbps, so very fast external SSDs will be held back.

Who it's for

  • Home offices that want three monitors on a budget
  • Families and students who need a capable, upgradable everyday PC
  • Small offices with many USB peripherals
  • Buyers who want to start small and add memory or storage later

Who should look elsewhere

  • Anyone who wants the smallest possible box: the V1 is 100 mm square
  • Gamers and editors: the M1 or X3
  • People who need Wi-Fi 6 or faster USB

Bottom line

The K1 is ACEMAGIC's best-value machine for people who want room to grow: eight threads, two memory slots, two drive slots, three outputs and seven USB ports. Its wireless and processor are older, and three screens drop to 30 Hz, but for office, school and streaming it's a practical, expandable choice.
